Request Account & Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your DreamPhones account and all associated personal data. When you submit a deletion request, we will permanently remove the following:

• Account information — email address, name, profile details
• Session history — all VNS training session records, durations, and settings
• Biometric data — heart rate, HRV, and camera-based measurements collected during sessions
• Chat history — all conversations with Dr. Sophie
• Device data — paired device information and event logs
• Preferences — notification settings, intensity preferences, and app configuration

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your account and data, please send an email to:

Please include the email address associated with your DreamPhones account. You can also email us directly at contact@dreamphones.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

What Happens Next

• We will verify your identity by confirming the email address on your account.
• Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.
• You will receive an email confirmation once deletion is complete.
• This action is irreversible — deleted data cannot be recovered.

Data We May Retain

In certain cases, we may retain limited data as required by law, including:

• Transaction records required for tax or accounting purposes
• Information necessary to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes

Any retained data will be kept in accordance with applicable data retention laws and will not be used for any other purpose.

Delete Data from Your Device

In addition to server-side deletion, you can remove locally stored data from the DreamPhones app:

• iOS: Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > DreamPhones > Delete App
• Android: Go to Settings > Apps > DreamPhones > Storage > Clear Data, or uninstall the app
• Apple Health: Open the Health app > Browse > Heart > Data Sources & Access > DreamPhones > Delete All Data from DreamPhones
